D. Porter Jones serves as Owner of DPJ Residential, LLC. He brings over twenty years of experience in finance, investment and multifamily real estate. His career began in investment banking, providing expertise in finance, accounting and M&A work.
Jones previously worked with prominent multifamily brokerage teams at Cushman & Wakefield and Jones Lang LaSalle in the Southeast. He also served as Regional VP at Pollack Shores Real Estate Group, where he sourced and closed institutional-sized acquisition and development projects across North and South Carolina.
Since establishing DPJ Residential in 2014, Jones has developed ten apartment communities representing over $425 million in deal volume across Charlotte, Wilmington, Winston-Salem and Savannah.
He holds a BA from Duke University, where he received a four-year tennis athletic scholarship, and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. He resides in Telluride, Colorado with his red labrador retrievers, Ruger and Skye.
